Modern Awards Review 2012 —application to vary the Poultry Processing Award 2010 - clause 25 Breaks.
A. Further to the decision of the Fair Work Commission on 30 August 2013 [[2013] FWC 6174] the Poultry Processing Award 2010 is varied as follows:
1. By deleting clause 25.2 Rest Breaks,and inserting the following:
“25.2 Rest breaks
(a) An employee is entitled to one rest break of ten minutes during a period of work with a duration of more than three hours and less than or equal to six hours (excluding any unpaid meal break).
(b) An employee is entitled to two rest breaks of 10 minutes each during a period of work with a duration of more than six hours (excluding any unpaid meal break).”
B. The variation will come into operation on and from 23 September 2013.
