Modern Awards Review 2012 –Travel allowance.
A. Further to the decision of the Fair Work Commission issued on 17 March 2014 [[2014] FWC 1592] it is ordered that the Fast Food Industry Award 2010 be varied as follows:
1. By deleting clause 19.6 and inserting the following:
19.6 Transport allowance
(a) Other than as provided in clause 19.6(b),where an employer requests an employee to use their own motor vehicle in the performance of their duties such employee will be paid an allowance of $0.76 per kilometre.
(b) Where an employee is engaged primarily to perform delivery duties of the employer's products to customers using their own motor vehicle,such employee will be paid an allowance of $0.40 per kilometre.
B. This determination comes into operation from the date of this determination.
