4 yearly review of modern awards –National Training Wage schedule.
A. Further to the decision issued on 9 June 2017 1,the above award is varied as follows:
1. By deleting clause 14.6 and inserting the following:
14.6 National training wage
(a) Schedule E to the Miscellaneous Award 2010 sets out minimum wage rates and conditions for employees undertaking traineeships.
(b) This award incorporates the terms of Schedule E to the Miscellaneous Award 2010 as at 1 July 2017. Provided that any reference to “this award”in Schedule E to the Miscellaneous Award 2010 is to be read as referring to the Salt Industry Award 2010 and not the Miscellaneous Award 2010.
2. By deleting Schedule D.
B. This determination comes into operation from 1 July 2017. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect until the start of the first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2017.
