4 yearly review of modern awards –Group 4 Awards –Construction awards –Building and Construction General On-site Award 2010 –substantive matters –correction to determination.

A. The determination issued by the Full Bench on 20 March 2020 [PR715725] is corrected as follows:

1. By deleting the number “24.7”wherever it appears in item A.22 and inserting “24.6”.

2. By deleting the words “clause 33.1(a)(i)”in item A.24 and inserting “clause 33.1(c)(i)”.

3. By renumbering items A.24 to A.36 as items A.25 to A.37.

4. By inserting a new item A.24 as follows:

    ‘24. By deleting clause 28 and inserting the following:

28. National Training Wage

28.1 The provisions of Schedule C will apply in respect of traineeships,save that the following minimum wage rates will apply instead of those within clause C.5.1 of Schedule C.

28.2 Civil construction traineeships

The minimum weekly rate payable to civil construction trainees will be as follows:

(a) Rates of pay for trainees in the general building and construction industry and the metal and engineering construction industry will be as follows:

(c) All other disability and expense related allowances provided for in this award will be payable to trainees from time to time,if applicable,but no other allowances will apply.

5. By renumbering items A.34 to A.37 as items A.35 to A.38.

6. By inserting a new item A.34 as follows:

      ‘34. By deleting the words “clause 22—Special rates”in clause 42.2(c) and inserting “clause 22.10”.’

7. By renumbering clause 43.6 in item A.36 as clause 43.3.

8. By deleting the words “clause 43.6(a)”in item A.36 and inserting “clause 43.3(a)”.

B. This determination comes into operation from 1 July 2020. In accordance with

s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect until the start of the first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2020.
