4 yearly review of modern awards –Building and Construction General (On-Site) Award 2020 –finalisation of awards exposure drafts –clause 26.4 –distant work payment provisions.

A. Further to the decision ([2021] FWCFB 2152) issued by the Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission on 21 April 2021,the Building and Construction General (On-Site) Award 2020 is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the words “in addition to”appearing in clause 26.4(a) and inserting the words “instead of”.

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 May 2021. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 May 2021.
