Industry award coverage
An industry award covers a locksmith if:
- their employer operates in the industry defined in the award
- there's a classification which matches the employee's duties and qualifications.
Retail Award
The Retail Award covers locksmiths working for employers in the retail industry.
For example, a locksmith working for a retail hardware store
A trade qualified locksmith based in a retail store will be classified as a level 4 retail employee.
Vehicle Award
The Vehicle Award covers locksmiths working for employers in the vehicle repair, services and retail industry whose business involves:
- vehicle repair, service and maintenance
- sale and distribution of vehicles and vehicle parts and accessories.
Building and Construction Award
The Building and Construction Award covers locksmiths working for employers in the on-site building, engineering and civil construction industry.
Manufacturing Award
The Manufacturing Award covers locksmiths working for employers in the manufacturing and associated industries.
No industry award coverage
