The Children’s Services Award covers a trainee doing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care for an employer in the children’s services and early childhood education industry.
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care superseded the Certificate III in Children’s Services.
These trainees get pay and conditions related to their training from Schedule E in the Miscellaneous Award. Other entitlements (such as penalty rates, overtime and allowances) come from the Children’s Services Award.
Wage Level
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is part of the Community Services training package. The Community Services training package is Wage Level A in Schedule E of the Miscellaneous Award.
