The Retail Award covers employees in a poultry shop whose duties include:

  • slicing poultry
  • basic food preparation of products like kebabs, stir fries, and marinated meats, or
  • customer service.

Their classification will depend on their skills and duties.

If an employee has a trade qualification, for example a Certificate III in Meat Processing, they'll be classified as a level 4 retail employee.
