Where a casual teacher or tutor/instructor is engaged to work for 5 hours or more, they will be paid the casual daily rate.
Where a casual teacher or tutor/instructor is engaged for less than 5 hours, they will be paid the casual hourly rate.
The casual hourly rate is calculated in accordance with clause 16.2(b) for each hour a casual teacher or tutor/instructor is engaged to attend or be present for work.
The method of calculating the number of hours worked by a teacher or tutor/instructor in clause 14.3(c) does not apply to contact hours worked by casual teachers or tutor/instructors.
