Casuals get overtime when they work:
- outside the spread of hours
- more than 10 hours a day
- more than an average of 38 hours a week over 4 weeks.
Casuals don’t get the casual loading for overtime work.
What is the spread of hours?
Ordinary hours can be worked on any 5 days of the week, between:
- 5am - 11pm, Monday to Friday
- 6am - 9pm, Saturday and Sunday.
