Casuals can be shiftworkers in the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award.
When a casual works shiftwork, they get paid:
- their hourly rate
- the casual loading
- the relevant shift allowance.
The casual loading and the shift allowance are calculated on the base pay rate.
