Can employees be employed casually in the Fire Fighting Award?
No. The Fire Fighting Award doesn’t contain any provisions for casual employment.
Public sector employment
Public sector employers can employ people at:
- any level on a full-time basis
- the Qualified Firefighter level or above on a part-time basis.
Private sector employment
Private sector employers can employ people at any level on a full-time or part-time basis.
