The Legal Services Award can cover the following employees working at a law firm:
- legal clerical and administrative employees
- law clerks
- law graduates.
A qualified lawyer working at a law firm won’t be covered by the Legal Services Award. They’re also not covered by the Miscellaneous Award because it doesn’t cover professional employees.
Award free employees are entitled to the national minimum wage and the National Employment Standards.
Organisations not covered by the Legal Services Award
The Legal Services Award doesn’t cover Aboriginal Legal Services or Community Legal Services.
