Some employees in the social and community services stream will progress automatically through pay points after time served in the industry.
Level 1 – pay point 1 social and community services employees will progress automatically to pay point 2 if they’re mainly engaged in the delivery of disability services in a community or residential setting, including:
- personal care, such as assisting with hygiene and dressing
- domestic services, such as cleaning, maintenance, shopping, food preparation and pet care.
When will employees progress?
Full-time employees will progress after they complete 12 months of relevant industry experience within the past 3 years.
Part-time employees will progress after they complete 1976 hours of industry experience.
